Oh wow. The privilege of being trusted to own a campaign from concept to creation will always be truly humbling.
My pals at The One Off asked for my help in creating a script for a 30 second TV ad campaign for Toshiba.
Starting with a manifesto to pin down our theme, I began exploring dozens of concepts, and penned all kinds of imagined scenes inspired by Toshiba's line 'seeing is believing'.
We landed on an idea which hung on the question: 'when was the last time TV inspired you?'

Seeing Is Believing
'Be inspired by a telly-watching experience"
In answering the question, we conjured a heap of situations where telly had indeed inspired its audience, but in rather comical ways.
Think drastic, spur-of-the-moment home decorating, or going wayyy over the top with your new hobby, or being inspired to bake a frankly outrageous cake for your modest office bake sale.
Behind The Scenes
The One Off kept me involved at every turn, and I was so excited and grateful to see my script play out before the camera during production.
NB. It has to be said, in one of my original versions, the kid’s World Book Day outfit was a white and red hooded outfit inspired by The Handmaid’s Tale – ‘oh boy’ indeed. It would have been funny af. But perhaps a little too controversial.
