To frame the launch of the new V60, we created a campaign to celebrate the legacy of one of the most iconic Swedish estate cars.

Our initial campaign concept was based around the idea that most people have a memory of a trusty Volvo estate. It was likely your dad's or your big brother's – either way, we decided to harness that nostalgia.

Our ad traces the rich history of heritage models and the memories created in them, all shot free-camera style for a home video effect. Teasing glimpses of the new V60 eventually filter into our footage, creating a neat contrast of vintage clips and slick, modern car shots.

Social posts were created and released around the time of the launch which took place live on Facebook.
